The coming weekend, from June 26-28, 2026, around a hundred collectors will gather in the Swiss Alps for a weekend dedicated to classic cars and instant classics. The event is organized by the Supercar Owners Circle, a community of enthusiasts of custom-built cars, hypercars, and historic vehicles, and takes place primarily in the town of Andermatt, where the club was founded.

Fabrizio Giugiaro, CEO of GFG Style, is participating with two cars from the collection of Fabrizio and Giorgetto Giugiaro, which is part of the ASI - Automotoclub Storico Italiano museum network: the 2001 Aston Martin Twenty Twenty and the 1993 Bugatti EB112.

Fabrizio Giugiaro also created the new design for the trophy that the SOC community awards each year to the best participating cars.

Bugatti EB 112
The ultimate luxury sedan

Acclaimed when it was shown for the first time in 1993, Giugiaro's Bugatti combines the classic luxury category and stately tradition with that of contemporary design.

The story of the Bugatti EB112 relates to Romano Artioli, the owner of the brand, and his desire to create, using Giugiaro's design, a flagship "heir" for the Bugatti family, to be assembled at the striking new complex in Campogalliano.

The Bugatti EB 112 appeared in 1993 and was described as "a masterpiece that arrived out of the blue, making its mark on the history of car design, a dive into classicism supported by a somewhat surprising creative freshness. Relaunching a legend, Giugiaro delved into neoclassic poetry, recovering some of the values of automotive history. For car designers of the world, a fascinating new empyrean was opened up, with its essence, its tastes, and its smells just waiting to be explored."

The designer began careful analysis of the Bugatti sedans of the past (the 1932 Type 55 and the Type 57 S Atlantic of 1936, for example) to gather all of the creative genius behind them, taking from them the aesthetic and functional features that would give the new model the same expressive power. To recreate the Bugatti's traditional sports soul, Giugiaro designed a hatchback model, giving it a generous passenger compartment, equal to that of a prestige sedan.

The result of cutting-edge technology with an aluminum body and carbon chassis never before fitted on a car of this type, the EB 112 made its mark, like every Bugatti, as the synthesis of a high-class sports car.

The car was never put into production, and only three models exist, one of which is owned by the Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro collection.

Aston Martin TWENTY TWENTY
Concept car with an exposed body

Unveiled in 2001 at the Geneva Motor Show, this two-seater based on the DB7 constitutes an example of a concept car with an exposed body.

A theme on which Giorgetto Giugiaro had tried his hand before, for example in the 1982 Capsula concept and the 1998 Structura, reinterpreted and reworked by Fabrizio Giugiaro and designed for the new millennium. The name Twenty Twenty recalls the way of reading the year 2020 in the English language: in fact, with this car it was intended to show what an Aston Martin of the near future might look like.

The structure was produced entirely of aluminum alloy and incorporates the housings for the outer panels of the actual body, made of carbon fiber and plastic material. These panels do not flank each other, but leave clear spaces so that the visual effect offered by the exposed areas of the body can also be appreciated. In this way, the structure of the Twenty Twenty also becomes a styling element. A sturdy roll bar, also made of aluminum, is mounted at the rear of the passenger compartment.

In contrast to many concept cars, the Twenty Twenty is a fully functioning car: its heart is the 5935 cm³ Aston Martin V12, with maximum power raised to 500 hp.
